3 tiers. Fixed fees agreed before work starts. Every deliverable is something you can act on in 60 seconds or it gets rewritten.

Payband Benchmark

From £750, fixed fee

What you get: a one page benchmark for a role, ready for your board.

  • 1 role (or a small set of roles) benchmarked against at least 3 independent sources: ONS data, sector pay scales and live market evidence
  • A recommended salary or range, stated in 2 sentences at the top of page 1
  • Every figure footnoted to its source, so you can defend it when challenged
  • A recorded video walkthrough you can replay and share with your board (a live call if you prefer)

The outcome: you make the pay decision this week, with evidence, instead of guessing or paying an agency to guess for you.

Timeline: 5 working days from briefing.

Payband Build

From £2,500, fixed fee

What you get: a defined reward project, built and handed over. Pick one:

  • Pay bands for your whole organisation, with the method documented so you can maintain them without me
  • A full benchmarking refresh across your roles, with a board ready summary
  • A pay transparency readiness audit: where you stand against the EU directive and UK direction of travel, traffic lighted, with a prioritised action list
  • Benefits benchmarking and pay policy: what you offer against the market, and the written policy that makes it defensible
  • Job architecture and skills-based team design: levelling that holds up under scrutiny, including moving from siloed functions to project teams built on skills

The outcome: a working pay structure or a clear compliance position, not a 60 page report nobody reads.

Timeline: 3 to 6 weeks depending on scope, agreed up front.

Payband Partner

From £8,000, fixed annual fee

What you get: a reward function on call, without the headcount.

  • Benchmarks on demand through the year
  • Pay review support: budget modelling, distribution, manager guidance
  • Pay transparency compliance kept current as member states transpose and reporting deadlines land
  • A named adviser who knows your structure, not a ticket queue

The outcome: every pay decision this year is benchmarked, consistent and explainable. When an employee or a regulator asks why, you have the answer written down.

Timeline: 12 month term, quarterly check-ins.

Interim and embedded support

What you get: me inside your team for a fixed period, when the work is bigger than a project but you do not want a permanent hire.

  • Cover for a reward lead on leave, on parental leave, or between hires
  • A pay review cycle, a transparency programme or a job architecture build run end to end from inside
  • Available for interim and contract engagements, UK remote or on site in the North West

The outcome: senior reward capability at the point you need it, without carrying the headcount afterwards.

Timeline: typically 3 to 6 months, day rate or fixed term, agreed up front.

The standing rule on everything above: the fee is agreed in writing before work starts and does not move. If a deliverable cannot be acted on in 60 seconds, it gets rewritten before it gets sent.
